Consignment Policies

Thank you for consigning with PopUp Kids. Our goal is to provide an easy and hassle-free consigning experience that allows us to carry great quality items and brands that you all love! Please read below for helpful info on our consigning process!

Consignment Process:

  1. Amount: Bring in your BEST items, which is equal to a medium size tub or two paper bags full. 

  2. What we need: We are currently taking fall/winter items in brands Gap and better! We take clothing/items in size newborn - 10/12. 

  3. Baby/Kid Gear: We also take baby gear, board books, and toys and prefer well-crafted wooden toys. Make sure the batteries work and you have all the pieces! 

  4. When: Bring them into the shop when we are open for our PopUp. 

  5. Where: Bring them up to the side of the checkout counter, fill out a consignment slip, and leave the consignment slip with your items (the consignment slip allows you to select whether you would like to donate the items we do not accept, or pick them back up afterward).

  6. Turn-around: We will sort through the items you have brought in, and select the items that we would like to accept. We will be finished sorting through consignment no later than the Tuesday following the Event at which it was dropped off. ***If you selected "Donate" for any items that were not selected, the credit will be added to your balance to be used beginning at the next PopUp, and the remaining items will be donated as noted below. ***If you selected "Pick-up" for any items that were not selected, you will be messaged when we are finished sorting through it to let you know that we are finished and when the items can be picked up-pick up needs to happen the week of the PopUp.

  7. Credit: We offer 40% in-store credit or 25% cash (in the form of a check). 20% is given for out-of-season items. The items do not need to sell for you to receive your credit/cash - it will be processed immediately upon sorting/pricing, and ready for you at our next PopUp. We will send an email the following week of the PopUp with your credit amount!

  8. For the items we don't take: We can donate for you, or you can pick the items back up by the last day of our PopUp on Saturday. We are unable to process pick-up orders after 3pm on Saturday. Any items that are not picked up (or are selected as "donate" on the consignment slip) will be donated to the Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center.

  9. Condition: All items need to be in great condition, no stains or holes, laundered, smoke-free, animal hair-free, and packaged neatly and ready to go when given to us. Laid flat is best!

  10. We accept clothes by season: Fall/Winter (August-January), Spring/Summer (February-July).

  11.   12.   13. Women's Athleisure: Nike, North Face, Patagonia, Lululemon, Madewell, and Zella.
